Cheddar Apple Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2½ cups flour
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine (melted)
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1½ cups cooking apples (chopped, peeled)
  • ¾ cup nuts (chopped)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Combine dry ingredients. Add combined eggs, milk and margarine; mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients.

Spoon into well greased and floured 9x5 inch loaf pan.

Bake 65-70 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of loaf comes out clean and dry.

Let stand 5 minute; remove from pan.
